We love to offer you jungle trekking to local domestic communities, that surround Luang Prabang. This trip includs also a visit to hill tribe villages. There you’ll learn their way of living and you will also lerarn a lot of their local culture. In this tour you’ll camp in tents or stay in local homes in far away mountains. We’ll visit places with fresh air and we’ll see stunning sunsets. We will also make local food together over a fire.
We start this trip in the morning at 9:00 am. We drive you out of Luang Prabang by van, about 1 hour. Then we’ll take a boat up the Mekong River, about 15 minutes to Ban Muang Kea village. There we can see how they make whiskey from rice. After that we’ll start trekking up a mountain. about 3 hours we will reach a rice farm, where we’ll sleep overnight. we’ll have picnic lunch. Somewhere along the trekking. After a short rest at the rice farm, we’ll continues trekking up to the top of the mountain, where you have a fantastic view over the river of Ou and Mekong.after we have come down again to the rice farm where we see the sunset and now it is time for making food of in a local way.
Next day,we’ll continue trekking down about 3 hours to the Hueykor village near by the river. After we have come down to the village. Then we will do bamboo rafting or kayaking on the Nam Ou and Mekong river where you can see nice view and see local people fishing a long the river and learn about thier life who live near by the river.
